Hassocks Location & Transport

Despite the name of the school, the school is actually located in the village of Sayers Common. This is halfway between Brighton and Crawley on the A23. The postcode for your satnav is BN6 9HT.

Coming from the North on the A23: Around 10 miles after the Crawley exit, take the exit marked “Sayers Common, Hickstead Showground”, drive up the slip road and turn left at the roundabout. The Hassocks school is just on your right before you enter the village proper.

Coming from the South on the A23: Around 8 miles from Brighton, take the exit marked “Hurstpierpoint, Albourne/Sayers Common, Hickstead Showground”. After the slip road, turn left at the T-Junction (signed ‘Sayers Common, B2118’). After 100m turn right onto the B2118 (signed ‘Sayers Common, Showground’). Continue straight on this road for around two miles (passing through the village of Albourne). Drive through the village of Sayers Common and the Hassocks school is on the left just after the village proper.
